What Does the High Five Club Do?

Two people playing Fussball

The High Five Club is an exciting, nurturing and educational program for individuals over 18 years old who live at home and who want to continue to be active after high school. We study, learn and participate in artistic, recreational and work activities, both on site and in the community. Each participant receives an individual program based on his or her interests and talents. We also have a core curriculum that includes art, drama, music and computer usage.

Group activities may include exercise classes at the YMCA, crafts at the Leroy Springs Recreation Center, classes at a local college, work-related activities, and service projects.

High Five Club members participate in the Special Olympics in the spring.

Trained drivers provide transportation to and from the day center and to our activities in the community.
