Samantha was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Her father is a pastor, and the family home was always centered on helping people. She graduated from high school in Virginia and went to college in Pensacola, Florida. She was a stay-at-home mom for 14 years and then decided to go back to school for a business degree. She wanted her children to learn and give back to their community; so, for a summer project the family delivered meals on wheels. That project led to managing a senior citizen's center, which in turn led her to York County Adult Day Care Services.
She is happily married to a wonderful man, and they have three children. In their free time they enjoy traveling.
